Turmeric, ginger, walnuts and pumpkin seeds - OH MY!
I love nuts! They’re a great part of a well-balanced eating pattern, and I eat them almost every day. I especially like to create recipes using nuts that aren’t the most common. Enter this recipe for Turmeric and Ginger Spiced nuts, using cashews, walnuts and pumpkin seeds. Turmeric’s flavor resembles ginger and pepper. It’s slightly bitter, but when then combined with ginger’s lemony, citrus notes, then roasted, the result is a caramel slightly sweet, savory, amazingly delicious snack! This recipe is super quick and easy. Because turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory agent, that’s so good for us, taking advantage of this quick recipe to include more turmeric in your life is a win-win! Whip these up for a good go-to snack!
