Is A Cluttered Kitchen Impacting Your Weight Loss
Countless research studies have shown that food environment makes a significant difference in an individual’s ability to maintain a healthy weight. In a recent study by the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab, when female participants were placed in chaotic, cluttered kitchens, they ate twice as many cookies, compared to women placed in the same kitchen when it was organized and quite. Granted this was a small study of less than 100 participants, but the results are compelling. A cluttered, chaotic food environment may increase stress, lead to poor dietary choices and overeating.
